WHAT HAPPENS IF I MISS A CLASS?

We are unable to offer refunds for booked sessions but we are happy to offer a catch up class or alternative session where appropriate (dependant on availability).
Under usual circumstances, we are unable to move catch up sessions across terms.

do i join in?

Yes absolutely! The more you join in the more your child will join in, learn and take away from the sessions. As the class is of mixed age range, older children will do some of the activities more independently than smaller babies who will need their grown up to help. Children also learn from watching others older than the and it’s lovely to see them imitating and helping each other.
Singing along together also has a multitude of benefits for us grownups too! Singing has been shown to relieve stress, stimulate your immune system, and can even improve snoring! You can read more about the benefits here.

Children must be supervised and not left unattended at any time during the class and remain the responsibility of the accompanying adult.

how do i find you?

You can follow the map and address on our Tiny Dancers Location page, or you can visit The Boston Tea Party’s web page for more information on how to find them and their facilities, which include baby change and buggy parking, and of course a wide range of coffees, teas (and amazing pancakes!) to fuel the exhausted parent before and after class!

can i park?

Harborne High street is very accessible by various bus routes and also has many car parks near by. The closest car park is York Street Car Park which is located at the back of the cafe and has a walkway through.

HOW WILL COVID GUIDELINES AFFECT MY CLASS?

We are working really hard and our priority is to keep everyone safe whilst attending our classes. As well as completing a Covid secure first aid course, we have significantly reduced class sizes as mentioned above to ensure there is space for social distancing. We are following the guidelines closely and your class teacher will be able to advise you on whether to wear your mask during the session (depending on the up-to-date guidance at the time of your class).
Where possible, we will be opening windows for extra ventilation and there will be hand sanitiser and wipes available.
You are asked to wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds at regular intervals our teachers will do the same. We will not be including any hand holding or tactile teaching corrections but understand that very small children will have varying understanding of social distancing. Whilst your children are free to move around and enjoy the session the responsibility to monitor their movement in regards to others remains with the accompanying adult.
Where possible please don’t arrive early for your class, of course, you are welcome to take a seat in the cafe downstairs but please avoid coming upstairs to the room we use until it’s your booked class time - this is to avoid congestion and allow ample time to clean in-between sessions.

If there’s anything else you think we could or should be doing please let us know! We are very friendly and appreciate what a difficult time the pandemic has been for everyone and we are all just doing our best.
