ONLINE Mindfulness for Children course
A five session course in mindfulness for primary school aged children.
this course includes five sessions that are pre recorded and so can be done in your own time. Do one a day for a week, or all in one day! Each session consists of a video led mindfulness class complete with separate handouts that you can print at home (or view on your device if you don’t have a printer).
Upon booking, you will receive an email containing the links and instructions for downloading the course. (do check your spam folder just incase!)
for some of the sessions, you may need some extra items -all of which you can find around the house, eg. paper/pens etc - everything you need for each session will be detailed in the session overview.
.All you need to join our online sessions is internet connection and a device such as a phone, laptop or tablet - you may even have a clever tv you can hook up!

Course STRUCTURE
The course will cover:
What is mindfulness and how can it help us, particularly at the moment when things are feeling very unusual.
Discussing difficult (but normal) emotions and feelings and what happens to our brain when we feel them
How we can employ mindfulness techniques to help us make better choices when feeling difficult emotions
Creating a “toolkit” of mindfulness exercises to have and put in to practice in day to day life.

Most of all, it’s important to us that the classes are enjoyable and fun and that we create a positive and encouraging environment to learn new skills, make new friends and grow in confidence.
Oneday Theatre Minis is a performing arts class for children aged 5 - 9 years with a show and share performance at the end of every term. The class encompasses dancing, drama and singing as well as fun games and exercises to improve confidence, speaking skills and focus.
